El Camino Wildcats Varsity Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Mission Hills

El Camino Wildcats Varsity and Mission Hills played a tight game, but Mission Hills pulled out the 6-3 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Mission Hills batting in the bottom of the sixth when there was an error, scoring two runs.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity lost despite out-hitting Mission Hills 13 to six.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Zach Rebensdorf drove in one run when he singled.

Jack Gonzales took the loss for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He threw two and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs, two hits, and striking out four.

Robby Pike started the game for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He pitched three and a third innings, allowing one run, four hits, striking out four, and walking one.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 3-1 loss to Mission Hills on Tuesday. Mission Hills scored on a walk in the first inning and a single in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Mission Hills pitchers struck out five, while El Camino Wildcats Varsity sat down four

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Loses Lead Early In Defeat

El Camino Wildcats Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 18-6 loss to San Marcos on Saturday. San Marcos scored on a single by Zander Corbin in the first inning, a double by Crane in the first inning, a single by Tyler Holmes in the first inning, a single by Martinez in the first inning, and a triple in the second inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity collected nine hits and San Marcos had 19 in the high-scoring affair

El Camino Wildcats Varsity took an early lead in the first inning.  Zach Rebensdorf grounded out, scoring one run.

San Marcos took the lead for good with seven runs in the first inning. In the first Zander Corbin singled off of Chipper Korbacher, driving in two runs, Crane doubled off of Korbacher, driving in one run, Ianniciello hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run, Tyler Holmessingled off of Korbacher, driving in one run, Martinez singled off of Korbacher, driving in one run, and Krutzschmar hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity scored four runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Rebensdorf and a double by Braden Olthoff.

Alec Holmes earned the win for San Marcos. He pitched four and two-thirds innings, surrendering six runs, six hits, and striking out five. Two relievers helped San Marcos close out the victory. Conner Gutierrez threw one and one-third innings.  Korbacher took the loss for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He went one-third of an inning, surrendering seven runs, and seven hits.

Home runs for San Marcos came when Blas homered in the sixth inning and Crane homered in the third inning.

Late Score Costs El Camino Wildcats Varsity Against San Marcos

Thursday’s game against San Marcos was a heartbreaker for El Camino Wildcats Varsity, as they lost the lead late in a 4-1 defeat. The game was tied at one with San Marcos batting in the top of the sixth when Braden Olthoff induced Crane to ground out, but one run scored.

Shane Whittaker earned the win for San Marcos. He pitched five and two-thirds innings, giving up one run, three hits, striking out three, and walking one.  Anderson threw one inning, as two relievers helped San Marcos finish off the victory.  Braden Olthoff took the loss for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He went six innings, giving up two runs, four hits, and striking out five.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-1 loss to San Marcos on Tuesday. San Marcos scored on a double by Crane in the first inning, a double by Tyler Holmes in the first inning, and a home run by Blas in the second inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity took an early lead in the first inning.  Jack Weseloh drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

San Marcos took the lead for good with four runs in the first inning. In the first Cranedoubled off of Robby Pike, driving in one run and Tyler Holmes doubled off of Pike, driving in three runs.

Alec Holmes earned the win for San Marcos. He went one and one-third innings, allowing one run, and three hits.  Pike took the loss for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He threw four innings, giving up five runs, and six hits.

Oceanside Captures Lead Early To Defeat El Camino Wildcats Varsity

El Camino Wildcats Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-2 loss to Oceanside on Friday. Oceanside scored on a groundout in the first inning, a passed ball in the second inning, and a fielder’s choice by Antonio Escalante in the second inning.

Oceanside captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Oceanside.

Oceanside took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second DJ Ralph induced Antonio Escalante to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Escalante earned the win for Oceanside. He pitched six and a third innings, surrendering two runs, four hits, and striking out seven.  Mike Thomas recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Oceanside.  Ralph took the loss for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He threw three and two-thirds innings, giving up five runs, five hits, and striking out four.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity defeated Oceanside 5-4 on Thursday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at four with El Camino Wildcats Varsity batting in the bottom of the ninth when Jack Weseloh singled off of Ricky Lundy, driving in one run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. Zach Rebensdorf hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Oceanside evened things up at four in the top of the seventh inning. Oceanside scored one run when A.J. Nelums doubled with two outs in the seventh inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity fell 9-6 to Steele Canyon on Tuesday despite out-hitting them eight to seven.

Despite the loss, El Camino Wildcats Varsity did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Steele Canyon had seven hits on the way to victory.

Steele Canyon captured the lead in the first inning.  Arias singled on a 0-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

After El Camino Wildcats Varsity scored one run in the top of the sixth, Steele Canyon answered with one of their own.  El Camino Wildcats Varsity scored when Matthias Tironalaid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run. Steele Canyon then answered when Tellous doubled off of Trevor Frolander, driving in one run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Can’t Hold Up Against Rancho Bernardo

Friday was a long day for El Camino Wildcats Varsity, as it fell to Rancho Bernardo 13-3.

Rancho Bernardo took an early lead in the first inning. Rancho Bernardo scored one run on a stolen base in the first inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning. With one out in the second inning Matt Dudek drove in one run when he doubled.

Rancho Bernardo took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third there was an error, scoring two runs.

Rancho Bernardo scored six runs in the fourth inning. Rancho Bernardo’s big inning was driven by a single by Calvin Mitchell, a double by Nick Seamons, a double by Noah Kaagan, and a single.

Matthias Tirona and Dudek each drove in one run to lead El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

Rancho Bernardo had 11 hits in the game.  Connor O’BrienSeamons, and Kaagan each collected multiple hits for Rancho Bernardo. Rancho Bernardo tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Alika Williams led the way with three.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Falls To La Costa Canyon After Seventh Inning Score

El Camino Wildcats Varsity lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat to La Costa Canyon on Monday. The game was tied at two with La Costa Canyon batting in the top of the seventh when Marcus Alazard homered off of Trevor Frolander, driving in one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. La Costa Canyon pitchers struck out nine, while El Camino Wildcats Varsity sat down seven

El Camino Wildcats Varsity captured the lead in the second inning. A wild pitch by #23scored one run for El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, El Camino Wildcats Varsity tied things up at two.  Zach Rebensdorf hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Matthias Tirona went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead El Camino Wildcats Varsity in hits.  El Camino Wildcats Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Robby Pike had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

Marcus Alazard led La Costa Canyon with two hits in four at bats. La Costa Canyon was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Trevor Noble had the most chances in the field with 11.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Great Oak

El Camino Wildcats Varsity jumped out to an early lead over Great Oak and took home a 7-1 victory on Tuesday.  El Camino Wildcats Varsity scored on a groundout by Chase Beasley in the second inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity secured the victory thanks to four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Matthias Tirona, a double by Ray Gutierrez, and a single by Zach Rebensdorf.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity captured the lead in the second inning.  Chase Beasley grounded out, scoring one run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity scored four runs in the sixth inning.  El Camino Wildcats Varsityscored on a single by Tirona, a double by Gutierrez, and a single by Rebensdorf.

Braden Olthoff earned the win for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He tossed four innings, giving up one run, three hits, striking out one, and walking one.  Trevor Frolander threw two innings, as two relievers helped El Camino Wildcats Varsity finish off the victory.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity collected eight hits.  Rebensdorf and Gutierrez each collected multiple hits for El Camino Wildcats Varsity.  Gutierrez and Rebensdorf each collected two hits to lead El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

Great Oak had five hits in the game.  Josh Paino and Alex Stufft each collected multiple hits for Great Oak.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Loses Lead Early In Defeat

 

El Camino Wildcats Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 7-3 loss to Steele Canyon on Saturday. Steele Canyon scored on a double by Taylor, a double by Brinkmeier, and a double by Esquibel in the second inning.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity lost despite out-hitting Steele Canyon nine to seven.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity took an early lead in the first inning.  El Camino Wildcats Varsityscored on a stolen base during Braden Olthoff‘s at bat. Then Olthoff singled.

Steele Canyon took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Taylor doubled off of Jack Gonzales, driving in two runs, Brinkmeier doubled off of Gonzales, driving in one run, and Esquibel doubled off of Gonzales, driving in one run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity had nine hits in the game.  Zach Rebensdorf and Matt Dudekeach collected multiple hits for El Camino Wildcats Varsity.  Trevor FrolanderOlthoff, and Dudek each drove in one run to lead El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

Steele Canyon collected seven hits.  Esquibel and Brinkmeier each collected multiple hits for Steele Canyon.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Drops Game To Clairemont After Late Score

El Camino Wildcats Varsity lost the lead late in a 5-4 defeat to Clairemont on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Clairemont batting in the bottom of the seventh when there was an error, scoring one run.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Clairemont tied things up at four. With two outs in the sixth inning Maunier drove in one run when he doubled.

Clairemont scored three runs in the sixth inning. Clairemont’s big inning was driven by a double by Meins, a single by Soitts, and a double by Maunier.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Defeats Murrieta Mesa Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning

Even though El Camino Wildcats Varsity gave up three runs in the sixth inning, it still defeated Murrieta Mesa 7-3 on Tuesday. Murrieta Mesa’s big inning was driven by a double by Ryan Hidalgo.

Murrieta Mesa scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Murrieta Mesa came thanks to a double by Ryan Hidalgo.

Braden Olthoff earned the win for El Camino Wildcats Varsity. He pitched six innings, allowing three runs, three hits, striking out eight, and walking zero. Tyler Wygant recorded the last three outs to earn the save for El Camino Wildcats Varsity.

Matthias Tirona and Ray Gutierrez each drove in two runs to lead El Camino Wildcats Varsity. El Camino Wildcats Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Zach Rebensdorf led the way with two. El Camino Wildcats Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Rebensdorf had the most chances in the field with nine.

Hidalgo led Murrieta Mesa with two runs batted in. He went 1-for-3 on the day.

El Camino Wildcats Varsity Falls To Scripps Ranch In Low-Scoring Affair 3-1

Both teams were strong on the mound on Saturday, but Scripps Ranch was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over El Camino Wildcats Varsity on Saturday. Jack Gonzalesstarted the game for El Camino Wildcats Varsity and recorded 21 outs.

Ray Gutierrez led El Camino Wildcats Varsity with one run batted in. He went 2-for-3 on the day.

Scripps Ranch didn’t commit a single error in the field. B Coimbra had the most chances in the field with eight.
