La Costa Canyon Captures Lead Early To Defeat El Camino Wildcats JV

El Camino Wildcats fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-0 loss to La Costa Canyon on Monday. La Costa Canyon scored on an error in the first inning then added to their lead scoring three runs in the fourth inning.

A single by Cameron Brown in the third inning was a positive for Wildcats.

Erik Larson took the loss for El Camino. He threw four innings, giving up six runs, four hits, and striking out four.

Shay TorresHenry Berman, and Brown each collected one hit to lead El Camino.

El Camino Wildcats JV Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Chaparral

El Camino Wildcats JV took the lead for good in the fifth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Chaparral by an 11-7 score on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with El Camino Wildcats batting in the bottom of the fifth when Shane Condon bunted in the go ahead run.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as El Camino collected eight hits and Chaparral 11

Chaparral captured the lead in the first inning. Chaparral evened things up at five in the top of the fourth inning on an error by the Wildcat defense.

The Wildcats scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning was driven with a double by Marc Pallotto and a triple by DJ Ralph.

Cameron Brown earned the win for Wildcats. He tossed three and a third innings, surrendering one run, four hits, and striking out two.

Nick Hettinger started the game for El Camino. He threw two and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs, five hits, striking out one, and walking zero.

Shane Condon, Marc PallottoNiko Butler, and DJ Ralph each drove in two runs to lead the Wildcats to victory.

El Camino Wildcats JV Blows Out Steele Canyon

El Camino Wildcats JV blew out Steele Canyon 11-5 on Saturday.

Steele Canyon took an early lead in the second inning on a wild pitch by Erik Larson.

The JV Wildcats took the lead for good with five runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth DJ Ralph singled, driving in one run. Clint Grant doubled, driving in two runs, and Cameron Brown singled, driving in two runs.

Larson earned the win for the Wildcats. He pitched four innings, allowing two runs, two hits, and striking out six. Two relievers helped El Camino close out the victory. Niko Butler threw two and a third innings.

El Camino had 12 hits in the game. LarsonPallotto Condon Torres, and Brown each collected multiple hits for El Camino Wildcats. The Wildcats stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Pallotto led the way with three. El Camino was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.

El Camino JV Wildcats Jump Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Murrieta Mesa

El Camino JV Wildcats jumped out to an early lead over the Murrieta Mesa Rams and took home an 11-4 victory on Tuesday. The Wildcats scored on a single by Niko Butler and Cole Rebensdorf in the first inning with a couple of defensive errors.   Jay Mendez drove in another run the second inning with a fielders choice.

Murrieta Mesa scored three runs in the seventh inning, but Wildcats still managed to pull out the victory.

Cameron Brown earned the win for El Camino Wildcats. He threw three innings, allowing one run, one hit, striking out two, and walking one. Nick Hettinger threw two innings, as three relievers helped Wildcats finish off the victory.

Erik Larson went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead the JV Wildcats in hits.

El Camino Wildcats JV Defeats Scripps Ranch Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning

Even though El Camino Wildcats JV gave up three runs in the fifth inning, it still defeated Scripps Ranch 7-5 on Saturday.

DJ Ralph earned the win for El Camino Wildcats JV. He went four and a third innings, giving up three runs, four hits, striking out seven, and walking one. Henry Berman threw one and one-third innings, as three relievers helped El Camino Wildcats JV finish off the victory. Niko Butler recorded the last three outs to earn the save for El Camino Wildcats JV.
